Ordering

Once you have completed your order, an order confirmation will be sent to your email address. The confirmation will contain all details regarding products, price, billing, and delivery address.
If there is any error in the order confirmation, please contact us immediately by email at boett@boett.com.

Delivery

Our normal delivery times are 1-4 days. Please note that orders placed on weekends will be shipped no earlier than the following Monday.
If there are delays in delivery (without us having informed you of an extended delivery time), please contact us at the email address: boett@boett.com.

Pricing

All prices in the store are stated in SEK and include 25% VAT.
We reserve the right to change prices due to price changes from suppliers, misprints in the price list, and inaccuracies in prices due to incorrect information. We also reserve the right to adjust the price.

Right of Withdrawal

When purchasing goods from the website, as a customer, you have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal, effective from the day you receive an item you have ordered.

5.1 Upon exercising your right of withdrawal:

You must notify us of your decision to withdraw. The notification should be sent to us at boett@boett.com. Your notification must clearly state your name, address, email address, order number, and the items the return concerns.
You should immediately, and no later than within the statutory 14 days after the withdrawal notification, return the products to us.

You are responsible for the return shipping, delivery, and condition of the products upon return; therefore, they should be well-packaged and in their original packaging.
We reserve the right to deduct an amount corresponding to the depreciation compared to the original value of the goods if they are used or damaged.

5.2 The right of withdrawal does not apply to:

Products that have been sealed for health or hygiene reasons and where the seal has been broken by you.
Products that are of sealed audio or video recordings and where the seal has been broken by you.
Custom-made products, which have been tailored specifically for you or have a clear personal touch according to your specifications.

  • Services that have been fully performed, where you have expressly consented to the service starting with no right of withdrawal.
  • Goods that can deteriorate rapidly, such as food.
  • Single issues of newspapers or magazines.

Complaints and Grievances

We inspect all products before they are shipped to you. Should the product still be damaged or wrongly dispatched upon arrival, we commit to rectify the error free of charge in accordance with consumer protection legislation.

You must always contact us for approval before returning a defective item.
The complaint should be sent immediately after the defect is discovered.

6.1 How to proceed with a complaint:

Any defects or damages should always be reported to boett@boett.com, stating your name, address, email address, order number, and a description of the defect.
If we are unable to rectify the defect or deliver a similar product, we will refund you for the defective product in accordance with consumer protection legislation. We cover the return shipping for approved complaints.

We reserve the right to reject a complaint if it turns out that the item is not defective according to consumer protection laws. For complaints, we follow the guidelines from Allmänna Reklamationsnämnden in Sweden, see arn.se.

Limitation of Liability

We take no responsibility for indirect damages that may arise from the product.

We accept no responsibility for delays/errors due to circumstances beyond the company’s control (Force Majeure). These circumstances can include labor conflict, fire, war, governmental decisions, decreased or failed delivery from the supplier.

Further, we take no responsibility for any changes in products/product properties that have been altered by respective suppliers and other factors beyond our control.

Product Information

We reserve the right for any typographical errors on this website and the selling out of products. We do not guarantee that the images reflect the exact appearance of the products, as a slight color difference may occur depending on the screen, photo quality, and resolution. We always strive to expose the products as accurately as possible.

Information about Cookies

According to the law on electronic information, visitors to a website must be informed for privacy reasons that cookies are used. The information in the cookie can be used to track a user’s surfing. By shopping at Boett AB, you accept our data protection policy and our processing of your personal data. We care about your personal privacy and do not collect more data than necessary to process your order. We never sell or pass on your data to third parties without legal basis.

Boett AB is responsible for the processing of personal data that you provide to us as a customer. Your personal data is processed by us to manage your order and in cases where you have requested newsletters or promotional offers – to tailor marketing to your individual needs.

Below information is a summary of how we store and process your data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Personal data is any information that can directly or indirectly be linked to a physical person.

10.2 What data do we store?

To manage your order and respond to queries related to your order (customer service), we store your first and last name, address, phone number, email address, IP address, and purchase history.

Your data is stored as long as we have a legal basis to process your data, such as to fulfill the contract between us or to comply with a legal obligation, for example, under accounting laws.

10.3 Legal basis

In connection with a purchase, your personal data is processed to fulfill the contract with you.
Marketing, promotions, and similar mailings are done after consent from you.

10.4 What data is shared and for what purpose?

10.4.1 Payment provider

During the execution of a purchase, information is shared with our payment provider. The data stored includes first name, last name, address, email address, and phone number. If you choose to pay by invoice, the personal identification number is also saved with the payment provider. The information is stored to carry out the purchase and to protect the parties against fraud.

The payment providers (payment services) that we use are: Klarna, Stripe.

10.4.2 Freight company

To deliver your orders and complete our contract, we must share specific information with the freight company. The data shared with the freight company includes first name, last name, and address details for delivery. Email address and/or mobile number may also be shared with the freight company for notification purposes.
The freight companies we work with are: DB Schenker.

10.4.3 Newsletter

If you have opted to subscribe to our newsletter, first name, last name, and email address are shared with our newsletter provider. This is to keep you updated with information and offers for marketing purposes.

We use MailerLite for sending out newsletters.

10.5 Right to access

You have the right to obtain extracts of all information about you with us. Extracts are delivered electronically in a readable format.

10.6 Right to rectification

You have the right to ask us to update incorrect information or to complete information that is incomplete.

10.7 Right to be forgotten

You can request at any time that the data concerning you be deleted. There are few exceptions to the right to deletion, such as if it needs to be retained because we must fulfill a legal obligation (for example, according to accounting laws).

10.8 Responsible for data protection

Boett AB is responsible for storing and processing personal data in the web store and ensures compliance with the rules.

10.9 How we protect your personal data

We use industry standards such as SSL/TLS and one-way hash algorithms to store, process, and communicate sensitive information such as personal data and passwords securely.

We use a Swedish platform, Quickbutik, which is operated by Quickbutik AB based in Helsingborg.

Changes to the General Terms and Conditions

We reserve the right to make changes to the terms at any time. Changes to the terms will be published online on the website. The amended terms are considered accepted in connection with an order or visit to the website.

Dispute and Choice of Law

In the event of a dispute that cannot be resolved in agreement with the company’s customer service and the customer, as a customer, you can turn to the General Complaints Board in Sweden, see arn.se. For residents in another EU country than Sweden, complaints can be submitted online via the European Commission’s platform for dispute resolution, see http://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr

In the event of a dispute, we follow the decisions from ARN or equivalent dispute resolution bodies.
Disputes regarding the interpretation or application of these general terms and conditions shall be interpreted in accordance with Swedish law.
